Late on Tuesday night there was a semi-drunk message left on Adrian’s voicemail.

“Hey! Boston! It’s Yelena. Listen, I’m having a super cool party on Friday. It has Allen wrenches and everything. And booze. Lots of booze. You should come. And if your human isn’t too busy dancing make in the forest you can bring him too. Byyyyyyyyyyyye.”

Delivered to the cabin in the woods by a confused and somewhat lost delivery service:

A pound of sashimi grade yellowfin tuna packed in dry ice with a note to Boston saying "For the best talking cat ever! - Y."

And the other was a house warming gift for Adrian. The note simply said: "This just screamed 'you'. Enjoy your new home! - Y"

Sometime after coming home after radio a package is delivered with fresh halibut addressed to Boston. Along with the message:

“Hopefully this will help you with your broken heart.

At some point some gifts arrived for the residents of the Blackwood Grove.

One was a stainless steel monogrammed dustpan for a certain broom.

Another was a pound of fresh sushi grade tuna.

And finally a wrapped gift for Adrian.

Along with a note:
Just in case you want people to know you are a witch but want to be low key about it.

Everything turned out well. Back on Friday. Thank you for looking after Fanny.

Rey had been away from Adrian before, and for longer than a weekend, but she still wanted to send a text. She spent several minutes erasing different versions of 'I miss you' because maybe that was a little much for just a few days?

I'm doing some training with the kids and then we're headed back to Fandom this evening. In case you're around then.

Because she missed him. Shhh.

Normally, Adrian wouldn't bring his phone out with him when he was working. Part of it was care, but the other half was not thinking about it; he hadn't had one until coming to the island, so it had never really imprinted itself on him as a habit.

That was...normally. This weekend he'd been a lot better about grabbing his phone for...reasons. Lots of reasons! Not just Rey-related reasons, honest!
